Brookview Community

Brookview Community Preschool is cherished fixture of the neighbourhood having given many of our young people fond memories of the beginning of their learning journey.  Our mission at BCP is to offer a structured play-based program in which students develop their social, emotional, physical and intellectual selves. Our children are unique and the program has many ways for each of them to feel successful while gaining the independence they need for Kindergarten readiness.    We follow a thoughtful curriculum with emphasis on emergent literacy and numeracy, art, health and the development of fundamental physical milestones. Our program is evolving to meet the needs of 21st century children with recent changes for focus on STEM learning activities. We are proud to offer exciting theme-based units (eg. Olympics), workshops by outside experts (eg. Clay for Kids) and special events (eg. Junior Explorers Day).  At BCP we truly embody the meaning of “community” with caregivers as welcome volunteers in the classroom and as behind-the-scenes supporters. Come smile, learn and grow with us!
